How do I access the Wiki?
The NTM Wiki is hosted by the Institute for International and Development Economics. It can be accessed directly from the address http://www.i4ide.org/NTMwiki or indirectly via the NTM Wiki Project link on The NTM Network.
How do I register for the NTM Wiki?
You can register here. Note that new users may not be able to immediately edit pages on the wiki. Please direct any questions on registration or editing to michael.ferrantino@usitc.gov.
How do I use the NTM Wiki?
The NTM Wiki is divided into sections by topic (see Resources on the Main Page for a list of sections). Resources, both those already listed on the site and those being added, may be listed in one or more section. Discussion of research and ideas is encouraged. The discussion pages can be accessed by clicking on the "discussion" tab on the top of each wiki page.
How do I edit the Wiki?
To add a resource or contribute to a discussion, you need to be a registered user of the NTM Wiki. You can register here. Once you've logged on, you can edit any page by clicking the "edit" tab located on of the top of a page. One easy way to to find the syntax to add a resource is to open one of the "edit" tabs for a page, compare it with the way the "article" page looks, and just copy the syntax you want to use. Links to pages outside of the wiki are easy to create; in the "edit" tab, put the link inside two brackets with the title of the page following the http link, e.g. [weblink pagetitle].
Please direct any questions on registration or editing to michael.ferrantino@usitc.gov. Although we encourage all visitors to the NTM Wiki to register, resources may also be emailed for upload by the web administrator.
Where can I find more advanced instructions on editing the Wiki?
If you like user manuals, see here for beginning Wiki syntax, here for more Wiki syntax, and here to drink from the firehose of Wiki editing stuff.
Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
